I just got the knock…

… police came to my door. My was-soon-to-be-ex husband died in his sleep last night. I’m in shock. It’s all over; he can’t hurt anyone anymore. I’m saddened by the tragedy that was his life and death. As next of kin, a widow, I have to make arrangements. I authorized the autopsy. I’m in shock. My emotions are all over.

I don’t even know how to respond to this. So sorry that you are having to go through this. A double ending of sorts.

Thanks, so much has happened and I haven’t even been able to get myself to blog about it. Probably tomorrow. It’s been incredibly surreal and jarring and unprecedented. But a lot of unity and healing has come out of it. A rare opportunity for everyone to be in the same room and share the outrageously incongruent stories. Oh Em Gee. My life is better (worse?) than fiction, I tell ya.
